Rama Kolli

Chief Information Officer

Rama Kolli is the chief information officer (CIO) for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska (BCBSNE). In his role, he serves as a member of the company’s executive team and leads the enterprise intelligence, advanced modeling, configuration and technology teams.

Kolli has been at BCBSNE for over 22 years and was instrumental in many important initiatives, such as digital strategy, data and analytics platform, cloud infrastructure, core platform migration and setting the foundation of the company’s digital future.

Kolli holds a bachelor’s degree in science from Nagarjuna University, India, and a master’s degree in computer applications from the University of Chennai, India. He has served on the boards of CoreLink Administrative Solutions, March of Dimes Nebraska, eHealth Council of Nebraska and AIM Institute. He was also the leader of the CIO Forum for all the Blue Cross Blue Shields in the nation.
