Overview  
FitOn is a digital health and fitness platform that provides a wide variety of workout and fitness classes and condition-management courses. 

Original Medicare  
Original Medicare does not cover fitness services. 

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska (BCBSNE) Medicare Advantage Enhanced Benefit  
BCBSNE Medicare Advantage plans provide at least the same level of benefit coverage as Original Medicare (Part A and Part B) and may provide enhanced benefits beyond the scope of Original Medicare within a single health care plan. This flexibility allows BCBSNE to offer enriched plans by using Original Medicare as the base program and adding desired benefit options such as FitOn.  

Coverage for the FitOn fitness program is provided to members under BCBSNE Medicare Advantage plans. Because Original Medicare does not cover fitness services, the scope of the benefit, reimbursement methodology, maximum allowed payment amounts and member cost sharing are determined by BCBSNE for individual coverage.  

Benefits include:  

• FitOn credits can be used to purchase gym membership at any participating facility location across the country.  
• Unlimited access to FitOn’s digital platform including fitness and wellness classes, personalized programs, meal plans with recipes, challenges and expert-led health courses. 
• Members can use their credits to purchase in-home fitness equipment 

FitOn gives members access to the best digital fitness and wellness content, fitness studios and gyms. This benefit is provided by BCBSNE. Members will be able to continue their current fitness routine while having access to a variety of new activities. Learn more at fitonhealth.com/bcbsne. 

Member Cost-Sharing

• Services that require added costs (e.g., court sports, massage therapy, etc.) may be purchased with additional credits to cover the cost. However, the member is fully liable for the costs associated with any services that require additional charges.  
• If the member elects to receive a non-covered service, he or she is responsible for the entire charge associated with the non-covered service.
