Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska supports the focus on clinical performance and cost transparency for services and products provided to our members. This initiative is designed to enable members to actively participate in their health care decision making. The following tools have been developed and are displayed online as part of our customer transparency initiative.
National Consumer Cost Tool
An interactive tool that helps consumers evaluate the cost of health care services and make informed decisions regarding their health care and related expenses.
Physician Quality Measurement
The Physician Quality Measurement initiative provides details on a physician’s performance on selected Health Care Effectiveness Data Information Set (HEDIS) measures and helps consumers select a doctor or facility that best meets their needs.
