URAC offers a wide range of quality benchmarking programs and services that keep pace with the rapid changes in the health care system. Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska (BCBSNE) is provided with its symbol of excellence to validate our commitment to quality and accountability.

BCBSNE holds URAC accreditations for  Health Plan and  Marketplace Health Plan.

CORE Certification

The Committee on Operating Rules for Information Exchange (CORE) awards Certification Seals to entities involved in healthcare administrative, clinical and financial transactions. Achieving CORE Certification signifies that an entity's IT system or product conforms to specific Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH) CORE Operating Rule Sets. This certification demonstrates that BCBSNE adheres to the operating rules and standards for Eligibility & Benefits, Claim Status and Payment & Remittance transactions.
