"Freedom requires Religion"

December 7th, 2007   (52 views )

So sayeth Romney. Yesterday during his non-Kennedy like speech old buddy Mitt showed his ignorance of the Constitution and everything this country was founded on.

[More:]

Rommney proceeded to say that “Religion requires Freedom". Mitt must not be a student of history either. Religion has been and will continue to be one of the most tyrannical methods used by man to replace freedom.

In other news, the Huckster alluded to the fact that his rise in the Iowa polls had nothing to do with a human force.
He has become the “annointed one". God has taken over as his campaign manager!

Living in a deep red state, I’m know there were alot of “hell ya!” comments made by the supporters of these nutbags.

The writing is on the wall.

The fall of Guiliani and Romney will be swift and complete by March. The far right religious cult will have the “annointed one” as their candidate for the GOP. Donations and support by evangelical spokesmen will begin to roll into the hucksters war chest.

Alot of progressive thinking people would like to see the huckster as the GOP nominee. Their believe is he would be the easiest to defeat in the general election. I believe they are underestimating the power and get out the vote ability of the far right.

The Huffington Post and Daily Kos are filled with well researched articles on the truth behind Huckabee. The individuals that vote for candidates like the huckster will not read, believe or even consider the truths raised by these articles. These articles are all part of the vast left wing media conspiracy.

You don’t believe it can happen again do you? How could we possible elect someone so far removed from the ideals which founded this country; freedom, opportunity, equal treatment under the law.

Just watch!

The thing about religion- its basic tenet and what drives it and makes it work - and what makes it dangerous is FAITH.

Faith is belief without proof. Believe what your pastor tells you is true. Believe what your father tells you is true. Believe what your president tells you is true. Believe what your favorite news channel tells you is true.

Do NOT question.

THAT folks, is brainwashing. All cults, no matter how large and pervasive and ancient, work that way. Very hard to deprogram as well.

The ones who are born into it and never allowed to question have it the hardest. I feel sorry for them at the same time I accept they will never change.

Religion is the use of natural human inquisition and spirituality to control human nature.

And now we get it mixed into politics... daily.
